Privacy matters more when matching uses deeper answers.

Likert is built around useful private information: enough context to improve matching, with plain-English guidance about what stays private, what users can control, and where the formal policy applies.

How privacy works in the product

What stays public

Your public profile includes the details you choose to show. Deeper preference and compatibility answers help Likert understand fit without turning your profile into a public questionnaire.

What stays private

Interest, personality answers, values, lifestyle details, and app behavior can help Likert decide who appears in For You and when two people should connect. The point is better matching, not public votes, rankings, or attractiveness labels.

Controls that matter

You can edit profile details, hide from For You, manage message privacy notices, block or report people, contact support, choose whether to allow analytics, manage iOS advertising tracking before sponsored placements use advertising identifiers, manage signed-in privacy choices in Settings, and request applicable privacy rights such as opt-outs from sale/sharing or targeted advertising.

Deletion and subscriptions

Account deletion hides your account immediately and starts a 30-day recovery window before ordinary product data is deleted or anonymized. Deleting a Likert account does not cancel Apple billing, so App Store subscriptions must be managed through Apple.

Formal policy

The full Privacy Policy explains collection, use, sharing, retention, legal rights, and privacy request paths in more detail.

Personal matching signals should help without becoming public performance.

Useful data, not public clutter

Likert asks for information that can make matching better, then keeps deeper answers out of public profile presentation.

Controls people can understand

Privacy, visibility, notification, analytics, subscription, and deletion choices should be easy to find.

Retention is plain

The policy explains deletion timing, recovery windows, safety exceptions, legal needs, billing, and support record handling.
